Four Arrested in Union Street Drug Raid Following Multi-Agency Investigation
BENNINGTON, Vt. NewsWK —Four Bennington residents are facing serious drug charges after local police and multiple allied agencies executed a search warrant early Wednesday morning.
On Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at approximately 6:40 a.m., the Bennington Police Department raided a residence located at 221 Union Street. The operation was the culmination of an ongoing narcotics investigation in the area.
Seized Narcotics and Evidence
During the search of the property, law enforcement officers located and seized a significant quantity of illicit substances. According to the police report, the haul included:
- 84 grams of suspected crack cocaine
- 96 grams of cocaine
- 126 grams of marijuana
As seen in the evidence photograph provided by authorities (reference file: image.png), the seized items included two large bags of marijuana, baggies containing white powder and rock-like substances, a digital scale, and packaging materials. The evidence was displayed alongside official patches from the Bennington Police Department, Homeland Security Investigations, and the Bennington County Sheriff’s Department.
The Accused and Charges
Four individuals were taken into custody at the scene. All four are residents of Bennington:
- Jacen Blair, 48: Charged with Conspiracy to Manufacture a Regulated Drug, Conspiracy to Sell a Regulated Drug, and Possession of Cocaine. Blair was lodged at the Marble Valley Correctional Center on $10,000 bail.
- Latasha Bourn, 41: Charged with Conspiracy to Manufacture a Regulated Drug, Conspiracy to Sell a Regulated Drug, Possession of Cocaine, Sale in a Dwelling, and Violation of Probation. Bourn was also lodged at the Marble Valley Correctional Center and released to the Vermont Department of Corrections.
- Kenna Mcauliffe, 33: Charged with Conspiracy to Manufacture a Regulated Drug, Conspiracy to Sell a Regulated Drug, Possession of Cocaine, and Sale in a Dwelling.
- Shannon Simmons, 41: Charged with Conspiracy to Manufacture a Regulated Drug, Conspiracy to Sell a Regulated Drug, and Possession of Cocaine.
Multi-Agency Cooperation
Officer Murawski of the Bennington Police Department noted that the successful execution of the warrant was a collaborative effort. The Bennington Police were assisted on the scene by:

- Vermont State Police
- Bennington County State’s Attorney’s Office
- Department of Corrections-Bennington Probation & Parole
- United Counseling Service
All four suspects were scheduled to appear in the Vermont Superior Court-Bennington Criminal Division today, Thursday, June 11, 2026, at 12:30 PM.
