The National Weather Service in Albany has issued a special weather statement for patchy dense fog across Bennington, Windham, Berkshire, and Rensselaer counties. Drivers should expect reduced visibility below one mile until the fog dissipates around 9 a.m.

Patchy dense fog this morning can be seen on area web cameras and
has led to reduced visibility to below 1 mile in spots. If
traveling this morning, give yourself extra time to reach your
destination and allow additional space between you and other
drivers as visibilities can abruptly change. Fog should burn off
by 8-9AM this morning.
