Born on June 6, 1925, in Readsboro, she was the daughter of George D. Graziola and Mable (Ford) Graziola. Barbara was proud of her roots in Readsboro, where she attended Readsboro Central School. On July 19, 1945, she married Robert Bradley Keith, and they enjoyed over 50 years together until his passing in 1995.

A Life of Devotion and Skill

Barbara was known as a devoted homemaker and a skilled chair caner, a craft she took pride in throughout her life. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Her interests included reading, gardening, cooking, and pickling, and she shared her love for ballroom dancing with her husband.

As the matriarch of her family, Barbara was remembered for her loving yet firm nature, with family recalling, “you knew she meant business when she shook her finger at you.”

Barbara is survived by her daughters, Darleen White and Polly Lemaire, along with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
