BENNINGTON, Vt. NewsWK — On Thursday morning, quick-thinking bystanders in Hinsdale, N.H., aided in saving the life of a 35-year-old man who was seriously injured in an electric scooter accident. This incident underscores the importance of community response in emergencies, especially for residents of Bennington County who often travel in nearby areas.
According to the Hinsdale Police Department, a 911 call was made around 8:57 a.m. reporting an unconscious man on Plain Road. Initially, it was unclear if he had been involved in a hit-and-run accident. However, before first responders could arrive, the bystanders were able to inform dispatchers that the man had begun to breathe again.
