About Bennington NewsWK

Bennington NewsWK is an independent local news publication serving Bennington, Vermont and the surrounding region. Our goal is to give residents a reliable, easy-to-read source for the news, public-policy developments, and community information that affect their daily lives.

What we publish

Our coverage combines two things. First, original and locally focused reporting and curation about Bennington, Vermont. Second, clearly attributed state and national journalism that we republish from trusted nonprofit and wire partners—including States Newsroom, Stateline, and other outlets that make their work available for republication. When an article originates with a partner, we credit the original author and publication and link back to the source. We do not claim partner reporting as our own.

Our standards

We aim to be accurate, transparent, and fair. If we get something wrong, we correct it promptly and note the correction. We keep a clear separation between editorial content and advertising, and any sponsored or paid placement is labeled as such.
